- For the call-out charges related to the periodic replacement of the chemical element of the ZeroVision system; and
- For repair to the system if the alarm system does not operate following reinstatement post-suspension and the fault is not due to Verisure.
Further information can be found in our terms and conditions.
Is my privacy protected with an alarm that contains cameras?
We have a comprehensive data protection programme in place to ensure that our customers’ data is safeguarded and processed in accordance with applicable laws.
In particular, we only have the ability to view images from Verisure and integrated Arlo cameras if:
- An alarm has been triggered;
- Device tampers are detected (whether the alarm is armed or disarmed);
- System alerts are received (low battery, power failure, etc.); or
- In specific maintenance situations where access to cameras is necessary (but such access cannot occur without us informing you).
Our Alarm Receiving Centre operators have access to live or recorded images when an alarm is triggered, as this is how they are able to verify a threat.
What conditions and locations can the Verisure Alarm system equipment operate in?
Except for the alarm system equipment that we install outside, you should keep the alarm system and equipment out of wet areas or outdoors. Equipment – particularly smoke detectors – must be kept free from dust or particles. For our indoor equipment, the temperature must be at least +5°C.

To ensure that our services and alarm system work properly, it is important that you do not tamper with, obstruct, alter, move, any equipment.
Can Verisure services be used in households with pets?
Yes. We strive to make our alarm system technology as pet-friendly as possible. When scheduling an appointment, we inquire about any pets you may have. If pets are present, our security expert will adjust the detectors to decrease the likelihood of the alarm being set off by your pet's movements within the secure area. These adjustments notably reduce the likelihood of your pet triggering the alarm but cannot completely prevent your pets from triggering the alarm.
Does Verisure use AI?
Yes, our vision for AI is to enable new services and enhance the quality of our current offerings. While AI is continually improving, it already supplements our ability to detect real incidents. With AI, we aim to go beyond traditional alarm verification methods, such as audio and images.

What is the Verisure App, and how does it differ from the Arlo App?
The Verisure App also lets you capture and store images temporarily, download them, and use various intelligent features like automations. With the Verisure App, you can also arm and disarm the system and use personal protection services. Use of the Verisure App and personal protection services requires an internet connection and a user account that is subject to separate terms and conditions. These App features can be used globally, but Verisure Guardian service is not currently available in the UK. The Verisure App is compatible (at the time of writing) with Android (version 7 or later) and iOS (version 11 or later).
If you have integrated Arlo cameras into your Verisure alarm system some controls are accessible through the Arlo App, such as Arlo smart notifications.
