Is my privacy protected with an alarm that contains cameras?

We have a comprehensive data protection programme in place to ensure that our customers’ data is safeguarded and processed in accordance with applicable laws.

In particular, we only have the ability to view images from Verisure and integrated Arlo cameras if:

1. An alarm has been triggered;
2. Device tampers are detected (whether the alarm is armed or disarmed);
3. System alerts are received (low battery, power failure, etc.); or
4. In specific maintenance situations where access to cameras is necessary (but such access cannot occur without us informing you).

Our Alarm Receiving Centre operators have access to live or recorded images when an alarm is triggered, as this is how they are able to verify a threat.
