How it works:

• The camera continuously monitors the video feed
• When it detects motion (changes in the image), it sends a push notification to the Verisure app
• You can then view a live feed or review the recorded clip

Customisable motion zones: You can define specific detection zones in the Verisure app to avoid false alerts. For example, if your camera overlooks a window where trees move in the wind, you can exclude that zone from motion detection.

Integration with your alarm: When integrated with your Verisure alarm system, motion events from the Arlo Indoor can be linked to alarm zones and logged by the ARC if relevant to an alarm trigger.

Yes. The Arlo Indoor features infrared (IR) night vision that provides clear black-and-white footage in complete darkness.

Night vision range: Approximately 6–9 metres indoors (sufficient for typical room sizes like living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms).

How it works: When the camera detects low light conditions, it automatically switches to night vision mode. Infrared LEDs (invisible to the human eye) illuminate the area, and the camera captures monochrome footage. When light levels increase, it switches back to colour mode.

No spotlight required: Unlike some outdoor cameras, the Arlo Indoor uses passive IR night vision — there's no visible light or glow that would alert an intruder to the camera's presence.

The Arlo Indoor has a compact, modern design that blends into most home interiors. It's not invisible, but it's less conspicuous than many traditional security cameras.

Important note on privacy: When the camera is in "disarmed" mode (system not active), you can configure it to automatically close the privacy shutter. This ensures the camera is only active when you want it to be.
