A Verisure professional will work with you to design the most effective burglar alarm system to suit your home’s layout and your security concerns. It could include door and window shock sensors, which trigger the alarm if there is an impact or attempted intrusion at your home’s entry points, GuardVision™ Photo Detectors which uses infrared technology to capture photos of potential intruders if it detects unexpected movement, and indoor and outdoor security cameras.

If any of these devices detect a potential intrusion while the burglar alarm system is armed, a signal will be sent to the central unit which in turn will trigger your alarm. The siren unit emits a loud, blaring noise to alert you and your neighbours of the breach, while an alert is sent to your Verisure app so you can check your camera feeds from wherever you are in the world.

As Verisure burglar alarms are professionally monitored, in the event a sensor is triggered, the central unit will immediately notify the 24/7 Verisure Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The highly-trained professionals on duty will assess the situation using the data they receive from your system and respond appropriately within an average of 45 seconds.

Based on their assessment, they could dispatch a team of security guards, alert law enforcement or call an ambulance if necessary. If your system is equipped with Verisure ZeroVision, they could also immediately release a dense fog inside your home to confuse the intruders.
