Can I have an alarm without a landline?

Verisure Smart Alarms do not need a landline to function.

Verisure smart security cameras and sensors connect via Wi-Fi with a 4G GSM backup, using your existing internet connection to push alerts and media to our secure cloud servers. You will need an existing internet connection with Wi-Fi for the cameras and video doorbell to use to communicate.

Our system does not require a certain type of internet, just the Wi-Fi functionality, and as such, is compatible with fibre, broadband and even satellite internet providers, providing they can take connect CAT5 ethernet from a router to the Alarm Central Unit, and that they can handle the bandwidth required to transmit video when necessary.
