How loud is the Verisure Alarm siren?
The Verisure Smart Alarm System features a Siren as part of the SVK unit (Siren, Voice, Keypad).
This siren rings at 105db, almost as loud as a police car siren (110-120db) coming from inside your home.
The Verisure SVK is installed inside your home to protect from tampering. Traditional bellboxes and sirens used to be wired via copper phone lines, but since the switchover to optic fibre, most have been replaced or retrofitted with a wireless siren solution.
Verisure's SVK is loud enough to be heard far outside the home, but installed securely indoors where nobody can disable or disrupt the alarm signals or siren.
Frequently Asked Questions
When your alarm goes off, the monitoring center will call you to verify if everything is okay. If you don’t answer, they will call your emergency contacts. If they can’t reach anyone, they will dispatch the police to your home.
