The Incident

On the 7th March 2025, Verisure responded to an alarm trigger from The Legacy Of Ink tattoo studio in Rotherham, Yorkshire.

Josh, the owner of the business, was laid in bed asleep.

ARC agents had already verified that Josh's business had been broken into - so they called persistently until Josh answered the call.

Photo detectors in the premises, along with shock sensors on the window that the intruder broke into, triggered the alert.

The ARC then verified the intrusion was real using imagery from the GuardVision photo detector in the premises and activated ZeroVision.

The smoke barrier meant that the intruder couldn't see what he was trying to steal, and he fled the property shortly after forcing entry.

The Reaction

By the time Josh arrived at his tattoo studio, the police were already on the scene, with the intruder already in cuffs.

The Result

"I expected to see the full studio ransacked and everything missing ... luckily nothing at all was gone."

Josh said that everything could've been taken if he didn't have Verisure and he couldn't put into words how responsive the ARC agent was.
