The Verisure video doorbell is not your average video doorbell. Because it's integrated with your professionally monitored alarm system, it's not just recording what's happening - it's connected 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to professional security experts who can react if your alarm system is triggered.
When motion is detected, the device sends a message to your smartphone, so you can check the live feed and respond. As part of your wider Verisure home security system, the device is also linked to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
The team in our UK monitoring centre will be notified, viewing footage from your video doorbell to help them identify an emergency or flag false alarms. They then take action - contacting you, dispatching emergency services, or sending a private security guard.
This connection between your video doorbell, security alarm, and monitoring service extends protection beyond simple notifications - offering the most reliable protection for your home and loved ones.

Yes, the Verisure video doorbell comes as part of a subscription to our monitored alarm system. This monthly fee depends on the number of sensors in your alarm system. For more information please visit our monthly pricing FAQ page.
Most standalone video doorbells charge an additional monthly or annual fee for cloud video storage, advanced motion detection, or extended recording history. With Verisure, your doorbell footage, monitoring, and professional response are all included in the monthly service fee for your home security system.

Why square aspect ratio?
Unlike standard 16:9 widescreen cameras, the square 1:1 ratio captures a taller field of view. This is ideal for a doorbell because it shows both:
- The person's face at eye level
