Yes. The Arlo Indoor features infrared (IR) night vision that provides clear black-and-white footage in complete darkness.

Night vision range: Approximately 6–9 metres indoors (sufficient for typical room sizes like living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms).

How it works: When the camera detects low light conditions, it automatically switches to night vision mode. Infrared LEDs (invisible to the human eye) illuminate the area, and the camera captures monochrome footage. When light levels increase, it switches back to colour mode.

No spotlight required: Unlike some outdoor cameras, the Arlo Indoor uses passive IR night vision — there's no visible light or glow that would alert an intruder to the camera's presence.

While not all indoor security cameras have motion detection, many models will include it as a standard feature that enables the camera to detect movement and trigger alerts.
